1. Install Xcode<\/p>\n

2. Download from omnetpp.org<\/p>\n

3. Extract –<\/p>\n

$ tar zxvf omnetpp-4.2.2-src.tgz<\/strong><\/p>\n

4. Set environment variable –<\/p>\n

$\u00a0 export PATH=$PATH:$HOME\/omnetpp-4.2.2\/bin<\/strong><\/p>\n

5. Configure the omnet src<\/p>\n

$ .\/configure<\/strong><\/p>\n

6. Make sure you have installed compiler at least gcc or cc. If not error will occur.<\/p>\n

7. Make or install it<\/p>\n

$ make<\/strong><\/p>\n

You are done.<\/p>\n

How to start the IDE ?<\/p>\n

8. Running<\/p>\n

$ omnetpp<\/strong><\/p>\n

9. Otherwise you can add shortcut to your Desktop or system menu<\/p>\n

$ make install-menu-item<\/strong>
